The main task that the SkyTec Interactive ski simulators solve is imitation of centrifugal forces, which are applied to the skier or snowboarder during skiing on the ski slope.
 
The main idea is that during lateral movement of skies or a snowboard the skier can feel the same forces that during movement on the arc of a circle. It is possible because the human body is inertial. And in both cases (during lateral movement and during movement on the arc of a circle) the force applied to the body is the same – inertia. Moreover, the direction of this force in both cases is the same – this force is perpendicular to the skies or snowboard.
The rest is just the way of designing: the properly made mechanical part, the power drivers, the sensors and advanced computer control system.
Of course, it is impossible to imitate snow and all its features on 100%, but it was not a task that we wanted to solve.
