We wish a Happy New Year to all skiers and snowboarders!

And our special congratulations are to Latvian ski-lovers where the sports club “SkiMaster”, which has just moved into a new and bigger place, is ready to get a one more SkyTec Interactive ski simulator.

In a month “SkiMaster”  celebrates its one year anniversary - during this time the club has become very popular between people of Riga. Its visitors are not only amount of amateur skiers, but also members of Latvian national ski and snowboard teams, who found training of SkyTec ski and snowboard simulators very useful.

And the results of training came in due time! Latvian skier Lelde Gasuna (she is on the right photo) became the First in FIS Slalom Race in Rukatunturi, Finland and the Latvian snowboarder Toms Vasins was the 3-d in Europa Cup snowboardcross in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.

Toms Vasins says:
“I had training sessions on SkyTec during two months before the season. And when I first came into the training camp in mountains I felt at ones that my skiing technique and stand significantly improved due to the trainings on SkyTec simulator. Also the balance feeling greatly improved - for snowboard this is really important. Thanks a lot that excellent possibility to train!”

“I have trained on SkyTec in the SkiMaster center before winter and my goal was to perfect carving technique and get a good physical condition before ski season. In my opinion, these trainings open new possibilities for improving of the ski technique and correcting of different nuances. You can make the same movement hundred of times, that is not possible on the slope. Additionally to that all the movements are much more visible without ski suit and the instructor explains and corrects even the smallest details of the technique. Thank you very much!”

I think that this simulator gives wonderful possibilities to improve and workout basic elements of skiing technique, perfect all element of carving and sport technique, and also reach a very good physical from before ski season and keep it during the season.
That is very important because there are not always enough time and good weather conditions to train on the slope. During 15-20 minutes on SkyTec ski simulator you can get the same level of loads as during the whole training day on the slope.“
